John Stadler has an established tract record of success in both residential and commercial real estate, having led the largest luxury real estate brokerage company in South Florida and developed several projects in excess of $1 Billion throughout his career.
John purchased a one-office, six associate residential real estate office and as CEO grew Stadler Associates, Inc. into one of the dozen largest independently owned real estate brokerage companies in the country with over 1,000 full time associates, 3,000 part-time associates and over 500 employees. In addition, he founded Stadler Insurance Agency, Inc., Stadler Mortgage Corporation, Equadvisors, Inc., (an NASD broker/dealer securities firm) and Stadler Development Corporation.
Most recently, John has focused his efforts on luxury high-rise residential development in Tampa Bay/St. Petersburg, Florida, including Icon Central (now Camden Central), Gallery Haus, Modera Prime, and downtown Palmetto, Florida. In addition, John spearheaded a public/private partnership in downtown St. Pete to develop Trail’s Crossing park under I-275.
Prior to his work in Tampa Bay, John planned, developed, leased and managed mixed- use properties throughout Coral Gables and Miami, including the 270,000 square foot “Alhambra” office building that won BOMA’s International Office Building of the Year award (TOBY). His development career has included joint ventures with many global corporations, including Hyatt, Prudential Insurance Company, IBM, Norwegian Caribbean Lines, Del Monte, and USAA.
John has consulted for some of the largest real estate companies in the country. He has planned and positioned numerous projects, including an 800-acre waterfront golf community in Naples, Florida; a 1,400-acre mixed-use project in Tampa, Florida; a 700- acre waterfront resort on Nevis in the West Indies; and a 2,300-acre mixed-use resort/residential/marina project in the Bahamas.
John is a fourth generation Floridian raised in Coral Gables. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Florida with a Major in Real Estate, and has been involved in the real estate industry for his entire career.
John served as the CEO of Flagship Marinas, the third largest marina company in the U.S. with over 7,000 boat slips. He has extensive experience cruising/yachting in Florida, as well as in the Caribbean; in addition, John is an accomplished angler and has won many tournaments in Florida, as well as the Caribbean. He has been a member of numerous yacht clubs, including Lyford Cay, Ocean Reef, Fisher Island, Baccardi’s Big Game Club, Chubb Cay, and Cat Cay Club, along with many others.
